Undo and cleaner cuts in Cut Silence, Undo in Auto Censor, captions moving as one block in Text Animate and a much faster start with large preset libraries.

New, 8 changes

  • Cut SilenceCtrl+Z / Cmd+Z undoes changes to the settings and edits you make in the tab.
  • Auto CensorCtrl+Z / Cmd+Z undoes changes you make in the tab.
  • Cut SilenceMeasures the background noise in your recording and shows it on the graph as a dashed line. The automatic threshold takes it into account, so noisy recordings are cut properly.
  • Cut SilenceEvery cut gets a very short audio crossfade, so you don't hear clicks where the pieces meet.
  • Cut SilenceIf a cut would remove a transition, you are asked first: cut anyway, skip those places, or cancel.
  • Cut SilenceSuggests a minimum silence length (click it to use it) and reminds you to pick only the voice track when music or game audio is on another track.
  • Text AnimateMove as one: loops like Wobble or Drift can move a whole group of captions together as one block, Random included.
  • Copy all copies the whole list of censored words to the clipboard in one click.

Improved, 7 changes

  • ZoomFavorite zooms work on any clip size. A favorite made on 1080p looks the same on 720p, 4K and vertical clips.
  • SearchBarAn effect preset applied from the SearchBar gives the same result as dragging it in by hand: animation, audio keyframes, colors and clip speed.
  • Clearer error messages: Zoom, SearchBar, Ease Keyframes, Text Animate and Positioning show a short, plain sentence instead of an error code.
  • Much faster start with large preset libraries. Panels no longer freeze for up to 2 minutes after Premiere Pro starts.
  • SearchBarResults in the SearchBar popup show up right away as you type, even with thousands of commands.
  • Long media and project lists sort faster.
  • ZoomUndo is much faster on clips with many keyframes.

Fixed, 6 changes

  • Cut SilenceNo longer cuts off the ends of words: short, quiet syllables before a pause are kept.
  • Cut SilenceCuts land exactly on frames. Cut points and In/Out no longer land one frame early.
  • PositioningCaptions with a stroke or drop shadow no longer get huge gaps or extra line spacing.
  • Deleted favorites (Zoom, Ease Keyframes, Anchor Control) no longer keep their keyboard shortcut taken. Undo brings the shortcut back.
  • FLEDIT MediaShortcuts assigned to media files no longer disappear on their own.
  • Cut SilenceEsc while dragging an edge now also restores the preset.

Version 0.93

Transcribe, Auto Censor and Cut Silence, hand-arranged captions in Positioning and a sound of its own for favorite zooms.

New, 12 changes

  • TranscribeTurns speech into captions on a new caption track, in 100 languages. You choose the tracks with speech, the language and the number of words per line.
  • Auto CensorFinds swear words in 46 languages and covers them with a beep, your own sound from the User Library or plain silence. You check unsure places one by one and add your own words to the list.
  • Cut SilenceCuts silence and pauses out of a recording. Four presets from Long pauses only to Jump cut, your own settings and a listen to the result before cutting.
  • Transcribe, Auto Censor and Cut Silence run on your computer. The recording is never uploaded.
  • PositioningArrange captions your way: drag words between boards, join and split them, and pick the number of lines and their layout for each board.
  • Text AnimateSettings profiles, for example one per client, and a new settings page with the Profiles, Random and General tabs.
  • ZoomA favorite zoom can have a sound of its own. It plays every time you use it: from a shortcut, the SearchBar or a macro.
  • AnimationsSearch only the open User Library folder or all your folders at once.
  • TimerKeep timer running while processing: in Automatic mode the Timer keeps counting while FLEDIT works on a transcription, censoring, a silence cut or captions.
  • Paste ImageSet your own length for the pasted image, in seconds.
  • Create MacroAdjustment Layer, Black Video, Color Matte and the other generators can go under the clip when there is free space there.
  • NotesOpen sequence in the notebook menu opens the sequence the notebook belongs to.

Improved, 9 changes

  • SearchBarOpens much faster on Windows and macOS.
  • TransitionsZoom In, Zoom Out, Rotate Left, Rotate Right and Shake are much lighter on your computer and play back more smoothly. Shake has a new motion: clear bounces that fade out smoothly.
  • ZoomZoom sounds: from-to length groups, switching single sounds off, sound speed, a new editor and clearer settings on a wide panel.
  • Text AnimateAnimations land in the right place with several captions at once, with an off-center caption and with a moved Anchor Point.
  • PositioningArrange captions asks whether to arrange on a copy of the sequence or on this one.
  • SearchBarA new, clearer look for the SearchBar tab.
  • UndoUndo also removes the Transform effect FLEDIT added (Zoom, Infinity, Motion to Transform, Text Animate), unless you changed it afterwards.
  • Ease KeyframesEase Keyframes, Anchor Control and Motion to Transform work on clips with a changed speed.
  • SettingsFrom this version your panel settings survive a Premiere Pro update.

Fixed, 8 changes

  • ZoomReplace swaps the zoom sound instead of adding a second one, and Delete in ANIMATIONS ON CLIP also removes its sound.
  • ZoomInfinity keeps a clip's stretched scale.
  • SearchBarSet Duration and Set Speed no longer make the picture jump at the cut.
  • Ease KeyframesUndo in Ease Keyframes, Anchor Control and Motion to Transform on clips with very many keyframes no longer locks Premiere up for long seconds.
  • NotesNotes no longer overlap after resizing the panel, and switching sequences no longer pulls that sequence's markers into the notebook.
  • FLEDIT MediaImages placed with their end or middle on the playhead no longer overlap the next clip by a frame.
  • Paste ImageOne Ctrl+Z undoes the whole paste.
  • Many interface fixes on Windows and macOS.

Version 0.92

A signed installer, Premiere Pro in any language, Team Projects and sound effects for zooms.

New, 5 changes

  • ZoomSound effects for zooms. Add your own sounds, picked by zoom length, separately for zoom in, zoom out and pan. They land with every zoom, including ones from shortcuts, SearchBar and macros.
  • ZoomType the zoom percentage straight into the badge above the frame. Enter applies it, Shift+Enter also centers the frame.
  • ZoomChoose where a zoom lands relative to the playhead: its start, middle or end. Works in macros too.
  • FLEDIT MediaIn macros and SearchBar, choose how a file lands: its start, middle or end on the playhead, or in the Source Monitor.
  • Team ProjectFLEDIT works in Team Projects. Positioning, Timer and Paste Image behave as in a regular project, and Preview no longer stops for save dialogs.

Improved, 2 changes

  • Premiere ProWorks with Premiere Pro in any interface language. Before, some features did nothing outside English.
  • InstallerThe installer and all plugin files are digitally signed, so antivirus software should no longer block them. For a while Windows SmartScreen may still ask: choose More info → Run anyway.

Fixed, 7 changes

  • ZoomA zoom from the full frame starts from the clip's current framing, set with SET FRAME or in Motion, instead of discarding it.
  • ZoomIn a narrow panel, Zoom settings open at full height and the shortcut bar hides when it does not fit.
  • PositioningUndo removes the tracks added by Arrange, even after the panel reloads.
  • MOGRTBuilt-in vertical templates land at the right size in vertical and horizontal sequences, and their drag preview has the right proportions.
  • WindowsDrag and drop to the timeline works when your Windows user name has non-English letters or a folder name contains %, #, & or an apostrophe. Importing, thumbnails, transitions, Timer and Show in Explorer work in such folders too.
  • ShortcutsThe warning about a shortcut already taken by Premiere shows up on accounts with non-English letters in the name.
  • LibraryVideo preview in Media and User Library works in folders with “#” in the name.

Version 0.91

Transform commands in SearchBar, smarter macros and fixes for the bugs you reported.

New, 5 changes

  • SearchBarSet Scale, Set Position, Set Rotation and Set Anchor Point. Fields show the clip's current values, and Tab moves from X to Y.
  • SearchBarReplace animation toggle that remembers your choice.
  • Create MacroChoose where media lands: at the playhead, or at the start or middle of a transition or FLEDIT animation.

  • ZoomUndo after “nest it and apply infinity” also undoes the nest.
  • NotesCtrl+Z right after an import no longer deletes markers from the timeline.
