How do TEXT, WORKFLOW and ANIMATOR features work?

Accepted Answer

FLEDIT has three paid parts: TEXT features ($59), WORKFLOW features ($79) and ANIMATOR features ($59). Buy only what you need. If you start with one, for example ANIMATOR features, you can buy TEXT or WORKFLOW features later. Features bought by one person work on the same computer. Pro ($149) has all features and works on 2 computers.

Question 3

I already have Standard or Pro. What changes?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is taken away. Pro keeps everything, that is all features. Standard keeps everything it had, on 1 computer. If you need more, you can add TEXT, WORKFLOW or ANIMATOR features to Standard.

Question 4

Which Premiere Pro versions are supported?

FLEDIT works with Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 (v25.0) and newer, on Windows or macOS. It may run on older releases, but 2025 and up is what I test and support.

Which operating systems are supported?

Accepted Answer

FLEDIT runs on both Windows and macOS - any version that can run Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 (v25.0) or later. There is no separate OS version requirement: if your system runs Premiere Pro 2025+, FLEDIT runs too. See the Help page for platform-specific installation steps.

What language is FLEDIT in?

The FLEDIT interface is English only. The one exception is notes: timestamp detection in the Notes tab understands 27 languages, so you and your clients can write feedback in your own language and still get automatic markers. The Timer also tracks your earnings in 50+ currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, PLN and more).

Can I use FLEDIT in my videos or client projects?

Yes. You can use FLEDIT commercially on every plan, including Free: in your own videos, in client projects, and in paid edits.

Can I move my license to a different machine?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and you do not have to deactivate anything by hand. Just activate on the new machine - if that puts you over your device limit, FLEDIT shows every device using your key (with activation and last-used dates) so you can free a slot. TEXT, WORKFLOW or ANIMATOR features = 1 active computer, Standard = 1, Pro = 2, Studio = 1 per seat.

Do I need an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Only for your license. After activation FLEDIT needs an internet connection to check that the license is still valid. Between checks you can work offline for a few days.

Does FLEDIT store my data?

Accepted Answer

Your notes, settings, Timer projects, statistics and earnings are stored locally on your computer. FLEDIT connects to the internet only to verify your license and to fetch notifications (e.g. about a new plugin version).

Question 11

Does transcription work offline, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Transcription runs entirely on your computer, without an internet connection - the recording is never uploaded. How long it takes depends on your computer, mainly the graphics card and the processor. For example, Auto Censor, which uses the same engine, analyzed 7 h 40 min of footage in about 30 minutes on a computer with an Intel Core i9-14900K and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080; transcription should take a similar time. On less powerful hardware it will take longer.

Is there an offer for companies?

Yes, Studio: Pro for a team, from 5 seats. One seat is 1 computer and costs $119.20 instead of $149. You enter the number of seats next to the Studio price, and the whole team gets one key. Need a separate key for each person? Write to support@fledit.com.

Question 13

Do I pay VAT, and how do I get an invoice?

Accepted Answer

Prices are in USD without tax. Gumroad is the seller and adds the tax of your country at checkout. Companies with a valid EU VAT number enter it at checkout and pay no VAT. You generate the invoice yourself from the Gumroad receipt e-mail (the Generate link at the bottom).
